歴史 History | Ito Gonsaemon no Jo Hironobu of Rakuyo, from the Yamashiro province, had the title of Yamato no Kami.According the Nihonto Meikan of Homma Juni sensei and Ishii Masakuni sensei he was active in the Manji period (1658-1661).Fujihiro Yoshio sensei, who considers him to be of chu jo saku class, says he was active in the Jokyo period (1684-1688). Tokuno Kazuo sensei on the other hand is of the opinion that Yamato no Kami Hironobu was active from the Kanei period (1624-1644) onwards to the Manji period.
Although all these four authors agree that this black smith is of a Chu Jo Saku or Jo Saku level; it was difficult for me to find any signature to compare. So I presume his work was very rare. |
