| Additional Information | This miniature set of Japanese Samurai armor was / is used during the celebration of Boy’s Day (May 5: Tango no Sekku (端午の節句), held on the fifth day of the fifth month, designated as an important ceremonial day by the Edo Shogunate Government . Later in the Edo period these items, were moved indoor, on rooms facing the street. So that everyone through the window could admire the exhibits of various dolls, armor and Kabuto’s. | ||
