歴史 History | Shodai Kinisuke also known under the nickname “Nakamachi”, what means the middle one, this blacksmith was the 2th of the 3 “Kunisuke” generations. First generation Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke was the youngest pupil of Horikawa school.
After the death of his teacher in Kei-cho 19 (1614), he moved to Osaka with First generation Izumi-no-kami Kunisada. They became pioneers of flourished Osaka Shinto school. Second generation Kawachi-no-kami, the child of first generation Kawachi-no-kami, was called as “Naka-Kawachi”, famous as well creating specific shape of Cho-jii. |
